My name is Cythera Wilkerson and I am grateful to have you here exploring my website. I have been practicing acupuncture since 2015 when I graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts. Chinese Medicine has been a gift to my journey of self-discovery. The study of it has supported my connection to the health present within me and I believe it has the potential to serve many others on their journey of healing.
In the space since graduation, I have participated in a two-year dream work training through the Haden Institute which has opened me up to the transformative world of the unconscious. I have had the honor of being taught by elders through a Western herbalism program called Native Roots. I have been guided by many great teachers as I explore what it means to be a white woman in a country that has much to heal in repairing the harms, historical generated by racism. Somatic work has been an integral part of my healing throughout all of this and I will continue to open up to its healing power within me and in spaces shared with my clients.
There is a web present here that all of these spaces invite us into relationship with. Individually we have the opportunity to open to the collective. The wholeness of our bodies and how her patterns are interwoven with those of Mother Earth and each other. I am grateful for the ways I have been guided and will continue to be nurtured by my teachers, clients, and the community that surrounds me. Thank you for being here!
